"Really enjoyed this book. You never really know the background stories of the doctors you see. This man’s journey to becoming a doctor shows the struggles, long hours, and hard work that goes into becoming one of the best. But it is not a dry rendition of his life. It is filled with hysterical stories and learning experiences. It shows the careful balance between work life and family life. It also shows the joy of doing something you love while caring for people in a way that goes beyond medicine and science. You can see how this doctor loved the science of his work and using his hand and his problem-solving skills but more importantly you can see how his desire to help and heal others was the most rewarding thing of his lifelong profession. “I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It was fascinating to learn what motivates and drives a person to spend so much of their youth and life studying and training to gain knowledge about each inch of the body and how to care for another physically, mentally, and spiritually. The forming of an MD and a true healer takes such focus! It is amazing that he managed, despite all, to maintain a connection with his wife and three children, especially throughout those early years of such tremendous demands on his time. I particularly enjoyed how he revealed his personality … the good, the ridiculous, his deficits, and his humor. Some may find his dark humor expressed in the book to be sacrilegious or disrespectful. From one perspective it was. But humor is a way medical staff deal with the sadness and seriousness of life and death and so many challenges in between. He does express some dark humor but the build-up to the event conditioned me to enjoy immensely his perspective on the situation. In this book, he executes an excellent job of portraying the wickedness that lies in the heart of man, and how they pay for their nefarious ways eventually. The Mystery Of Flight 2222 is a well-written novel that reminds us that what goes around comes around, and every action has a consequence.

The outstanding feature of this book is its unexpected ending. At first, while reading, it seems like a typical book that does not have a unique storyline, but the end proves that theory wrong. The author adequately explains in the epilogue the what and the why of the book. He tells us why the main characters were on the plane, and why they suffered what they did. He explains what their sufferings represent in real life, and what actions lead up to such consequences.

Of all the principal characters, Frank Mason stood out to me. On the surface, his life seems exemplary. He seems to have a flawless family and an excellent job, but as the story unfolds, his true nature comes to light. Frank Mason represents many people; he is overly ambitious and would do anything to achieve his goals.

I enjoyed reading this book, so there is nothing I dislike about it.

The Mystery Of Flight 2222 is a book that teaches that actions have consequences. We cannot live our lives without care for others and expect it to end amicably. The Mystery of Flight 2222 gets off to a slow start but keep reading, because you won’t be disappointed. Readers are first introduced to Frank and Helen, two strangers who are both taking Flight 2222 to Argentina for different reasons. They are seatmates and become friendly on the flight playing a game trying to guess the names and occupations, etc. of seven other passengers. The flight goes terribly wrong and crashes. Frank, Helen, and the seven other “guessing game” passengers survived. Shockingly, Frank and Helen learn their guesses about the other passengers were correct! At this point, my mind starts reeling—that is impossible? Isn’t it? They all experience horrific things as they try to survive including cannibalism. “They all said they felt like those ugly vultures picking at a skeleton of a deer on the side of a road.”

This is one ending I did not see coming, and neither will you. At first, I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but after much thought I loved it! It would have been great to have had a little more insight about each passenger’s background throughout the book instead of primarily all at the end though. For example, we didn’t really know anything about Frank that would have put him on that flight until the very end of the book. Still a great read, don’t miss it!” Jennifer Johnson

Seated together on the plane, Frank notices Helen is scared to fly and pulls her into his normal traveling game. To pass the time, they pick seven people on the flight and pick out a name, a job, their lifestyle and age. Finally relaxed enough, they both fall asleep only to be awakened by the attendant, Kimberly, yelling that they are going down. There are nine survivors of the plane crash; Frank, Helen, and the seven unknowing participants in their traveling game. All having such different personalities and some with injuries, desperation seems to kick in quickly. Of all the horrifying possibilities, they encounter them all.

I will say again, this book takes you on one screwed up thrill ride. It sits you down and makes you really think about what you would encounter lost at sea. Reality really kicks you in the face, the thought that with today’s technology, they have to be found quickly, right? How can you be prepared for that situation, prepared to make the necessary choices? One page after another, this book threw me from one side of the raft to the other. You can feel every rocking of the raft, every wave of emotion and water. I would have liked to have gotten to know the other characters more from their point of view to help connect better with the ending. But that didn’t stop me from thoroughly enjoying this book. Its been amazing at the quality of books I have found for just 3 or 4 bucks. This was no exception. Just a great quality book for a very cheap price! It is a psychological thriller involving a game on a plane that leads to misadventures. I was really impressed by the quality of the writing as well as the editing. It is a great book with great beautiful characters. Very much worth the time I spent reading it and a deal at 2.99. I have easily spent 10 bucks or more on books that were not nearly as good. "Just imagine that a game you played to pass the time went horribly wrong. This is exactly what happened on Flight 2222 to Argentina. Two passengers on the plane decide that they are going to play a game about seven other people and guess what is going on in their lives. However, they have no idea that the plane is going to go down and that they – plus the seven people they have chosen for their game – are the only survivors of the plane crash. Now their game becomes real and they get to see who these people really are.

When the plane crashes, they all end up in a life raft in hopes of being found and rescued. Food eventually starts to run out and they have to rely on the rain for water. We, as readers, start to figure out the true characters of the individuals when food runs out and they become like the victims of the Donnor Party incident and have to choose someone to eat. However, in this instance the person is very much alive, and they choose straws to figure out who the victim will be.

I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning about the human experience. I know that we all think we are a certain type of person, but when we are put in a horrible situation and faced with the decision of eat or be eaten, do you know who you would become? "I just finished The Mystery of flight 2222 and was really impressed. Right from the start the title interested me as I love a good mystery and I enjoy a survivor story. I certainly rate it a solid 4 out of 4. "If you ever watched a Twilight Zone episode, this book is for you. The Mystery of Flight 2222 is the ultimate in suspenseful narration. As two folks meet on a plane flight to Argentina we are treated to the development of these two characters as well as a guessing game about other passengers to pass the time. The plane’s alarms awaken all the passengers, and at this point, the story is about survival.The book takes an interesting turn when the plane crash results in the protagonists being stranded at sea with the seven strangers from the guessing game. The story will keep you on the edge of the seat due to the original plot, the author’s skilled descriptions of the characters and surroundings, and the slow tease to the surprising finale, which I loved. There were several times I had to put down the book and think “what would I do in this situation?” The sign of a great read is one that stays with you long after you’ve turned down the page and this book is definitely that. This is one of those books that you almost have to read twice once you find out how it ends, to see what you missed along the way. But don’t spoil the surprise by reading the ending first! YOU DEAR SWEET MAN

"This novel was fascinating! From the very beginning I was sucked into the story. The story follows two storylines and it alternates between Bobby and Charlie's ad creation.. I found the novel to be extremely well-paced and deeply immersive. I loved reading about the monotony of Bobby's life and also the business maneuvering done by Charlie and his quest to create the perfect ad.

This book was unpredictable in the best way. I had no idea what was going to happen or exactly where it was taking me, but I was excited to find out. I think that is the mark of a strong story - when the audience is engaged and unsure, but eager to find out what happens next.

The characters were all rich and enjoyable to meet. Samantha, so beautiful and conniving; Bobby: weathered by years of boring work; even all the board members were such a delight. The conversations all felt natural and the writing was filled with descriptive language that allows you to picture all these characters clearly in your mind.

The idea itself is so creative - a life-changing ad. Literally! I actually circled back to the beginning of the book after I finished and realized I missed many Easter eggs planted by the author. It is clear that the details were carefully interwoven and many of the strange mechanisms behind the ad are all scientifically explained. It has undertones of Black Mirror and the dangers of innovation. I also enjoyed the Mad Men-esque discussions about how to create a mind-blowing ad.

Overall, this novel was thoroughly entertaining and kept me guessing until the very end. The ending was satisfying in a lot of ways, and also kind of hilarious.” Maya

"You Dear, Sweet Man by Thomas Neviaser is an entertaining read if you like something a little bizarre and odd. Typically I am not a fan of science fiction but these days I am open to reading new genre and literature and I am glad I picked up this book.

Mr. Neviaser weaves a clever, creative and imaginative story in this book. His tale centers on Bobby Fastow who is a blue collar worker at a printing press that meets a manipulative lady. I will not give out too much information on the story line but what I enjoyed most was the plot and how the author weaves a few stories that finally come together in the end. It was gripping to me because Bobby speaks to this lady and the reader knows she is not "real" but wants to continue reading to see who she really is and what her intentions on Bobby are.

The setting of the story is in an advertising firm and we see the type of characters that work in them and contrast them to the simplistic life of Bobby. If you like fictional worlds, technology like holograms and animation and social sciences such as psychology, then this book will interest you. I also appreciate that the author kept the paragraphs a decent length (not too short or too long) and his descriptive writing style also appealed to me.

I recommend this book to sci fi fans as well as anyone looking for an easy and entertaining read.” UFlores

"This book is set in the 1970’s. Using 1970’s technology. The author’s intent is to inform people about advertising, and how businesses struggled back then. The intent is also by the author to entertain. This book was full of twists and turns, not knowing how to predict what was going to happen next with the climax or ending. This was an excellent read and kept this reader excited wanting to know what was going to happen next.

The way the characters interacted with each other was amazing. It was interesting how all the characters formatted the story, by their parts they played. For example, the many characters including the main one Bobby, you never knew how he would be from one point to the next. With his sinister ways he acted, for this reader it was difficult to figure out if he was going to be good or sinister throughout the story. Bobby kept the story going, and as a reader you were wondering what was going to happen next. The excitement of this book kept this reader intrigued and could not put it down.

The way Bobby and Megan worlds got together, wondering would this work out, would they be friends helping each other. It left this reader wondering how these two characters work things can out between the story lines. Then unfolding the other characters who helped try to save the burger restaurant. You, Dear Sweet Man, was cleverly written, unique, and evolved around the creative side. Also, I likewise discovered the characters to be shockingly practical. "This book was a fun read that kept you guessing as to what would transpire next. The first chapter presents an excellent “hook” that resolves its mystery in the final chapters of the book. I did ask myself why the main female character, Samantha, would take a particular interest in a rather mundane character like Bobby. I was kept wondering why she was so hell-bent on producing her own ad, running directly counter to the company’s desired ad.

There was also a strange level of intrigue as to why Samantha would want a rather sloppy looking picture of hamburger and fries from the BurgerBlast company. At the heart of the story, you have two competitors who are vying to stay relevant in their industries and will do whatever is necessary to do so. There’s kind of a good versus evil theme, which is quietly dispatched with karma and the seemingly innocent undertow sucks readers into what Samantha had planned.

I think that the author did a good job of showing the way people engage with each other on a professional level. I was irked that Samantha would end her sentences with, "my dear, sweet man". It was clear why the author did this and it made good sense, it just seemed a little uncomfortable (which was the intent).

"This mélange trio of human social behavior, psychological thriller and futuristic time warp does indeed slink off the walls of the subway billboard and slithers up to grip our protagonist right by the….brainstem.

Neviaser has managed to incorporate “Risky Business”, Phillip Dick’s “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?”; the words of such that was the impetus for the futuristic sensual apocalyptic crime force drama “Blade Runner.” and the raw, lip clenching uber erotic “Videodrome”; who’s seering image of blazing crimson lips becoming a monolith of 1980’s proportion, into one intriguing yet thought provoking read.

I had to go back from passage to passage in a few spots to make sure what I was reading was indeed written on the page and hadn’t been drawn from my transfixed imagination. Rest assured, it certainly was NOT out of boredom or lack of concentrating.

Blurred with a watercolor imagery of Moroder soundtrack and a steady throb of pulse as a cadence on every page, will the image of a woman promoting a new way to fitness by eating a fast food diet be enough to persuade one unsuspecting rider or will he need a more dominant approach behind the futuristic Velvet Curtain?

The book is far more conversational than I imagined, chocked full of illustrations, patient stories, and personal experiences in diagnosing and treating bone symptoms. There are useful tips, questions to ask, and suggestions for pre and post surgery The book is engaging, informing and at times (although its hard to imagina a medical book could be) entertaining.
